Here are some frequently asked questions about some of the improvements we’ll be offering.

Ireland Bank is migrating to a new online and mobile banking system on June 14, 2021. This upgrade will require that you make changes to your QuickBooks or Quicken software, so please take action to ensure a smooth transition. Conversion instruction are available below.

The conversion instructions reference two Action Dates. Please use the dates provided below:

1st Action Date: June 11, 2021 A data file backup and a final transaction download should be completed by this date. Please make sure to complete the final download before this date since transaction history might not be available after the upgrade.

2nd Action Date: June 14, 2021 This is the action date for the remaining steps on the conversion instructions. You will complete the deactivate/reactivate of your online banking connection to ensure that you get your current Quicken or QuickBooks accounts set up with the new connection.

Intuit aggregation services may be interrupted for up to 3-5 business days. Users are encouraged to download a QFX/QBO file during this outage. The following services may not work during the outage:

  • Quicken Win/Mac Express Web Connect
  • QuickBooks Online Express Web Connect

Please carefully review your downloaded transactions after completing the migration instructions to ensure no transactions were duplicated or missed on the register.

  • Debit and ATM Card Numbers – Your card numbers (as well as your Personal Identification Numbers) WILL NOT change.
  • Website – Our website, ireland-bank.com, WILL NOT change.
  • Usernames and Passwords – Your usernames and passwords for Online and Mobile Banking WILL change.
  • Checks – Your checks and our routing number WILL NOT change. Please continue to use your existing checks.
  • Online Bill Pay Information – Your payees and payments in our Online Bill Pay system MAY change. Beginning on June 14, please verify all payee information.
  • Bank By Phone – The menu options for our Telephone Banking system WILL change slightly. Please listen carefully to the instructions when you call.
  • Mobile App – As of June 14, our existing mobile app will no longer be valid. Download the new and improved app from the Apple® App Store or Google Play™.
  • Paper Account Statements – All checking and savings customers who normally receive a monthly statement, via mail or electronically, should receive a paper statement from our old system for the month of June. Please retain this for your records.
  • MobiMoney™ – MobiMoney™ will be deactivated on June 11 and will be replaced with a new and improved option called Card Controls coming soon.

CONSUMER:

  • Log in through our website at Ireland-bank.com and select Personal. Please delete any old bookmarks.
  • For your first login starting Monday, June 14, you will enter your existing username and will be prompted to go through Advanced Login Authentication, which requires either the receipt of a phone call or text message to obtain a security code. Please note it may take several logins for the system to recognize your device, so you may be prompted beyond your first login.
  • Once that is complete, you will enter a temporary password (your 5-digit zip code + last 4 digits of your SSN) and be prompted to change this to a new password to use going forward. Please note this password will be case sensitive.
  • After you choose your new password, you will be prompted to agree to our Online Banking Agreement, and you will be asked to confirm or update your phone numbers on record before being taken into Online Banking.

BUSINESS ONLINE BANKING:

  • Log in through our website at Ireland-bank.com and select Business. Please delete any old bookmarks.
  • For your first login starting Monday, June 14, you will enter your existing username (minus special characters). Your temporary online banking password is (Irld1 + first 4 characters of current Login ID in upper case e.g. Irld1ABCD) and you will be prompted to change this to a new password to use going forward. Please note this password will be case sensitive.
  • Once that is complete, you will be prompted to go through Advanced Login Authentication, which requires either the receipt of a phone call or text message to obtain a security code. Please note it may take several logins for the system to recognize your device, so you may be prompted beyond your first login.
  • Loan and CD balances will not appear within your business online banking access until June 15, 2021.

The cutoff hour for all Online Banking transactions during the Upgrade Period will be June 11th at 2:00 PM MST. After this cutoff hour, the Online Banking system will be unavailable until June 14th at 9:00 AM MST.

Post-Upgrade

  • Unfortunately, we WILL NOT be able to move over any account alerts, scheduled transactions, or external transfers.
  • The new service will have features similar to these items, but our programmers WILL NOT be able to set these up during the transition process – you’ll have to re-create them yourself starting June 14.
  • Your E-Statement delivery option should transfer; no further action is anticipated.

You may submit checks for mobile deposit until 2:00 PM MST on June 11. Mobile deposit availability will resume at 9:00 AM MST on June 14.

On Monday, June 14, delete your current Ireland Bank app and download the new app from the App Store or Play Store.

Consumers, look for “Ireland Bank”; Business customers, look for “Ireland Bank Business”.

Before logging in to your newly downloaded mobile banking app for the first time, you’ll need to login to your online banking account to establish a new password. Please visit Ireland-bank.com and follow the login instructions for online banking. You will be prompted to verify your phone numbers, one of which must be text-capable.

Existing Online Bill Payment information, including payees, scheduled payments, pay from accounts, account nicknames and other information, WILL be available within the new system. Please download or print your bill pay history download prior to 3:00 PM MST on June 10 for your records, as this information will not convert.

You should not originate any new bill payment transactions after 12:00 PM MST on June 10. PLEASE NOTE, IF YOU HAVE ANY BILL PAYMENTS SCHEDULED TO PROCESS ON JUNE 11, PLEASE RE-SCHEDULE TO EITHER JUNE 10 OR JUNE 14.

If you are currently receiving eBills, please deactivate by May 28. You will need to re-establish eBills in the new bill pay system the week of June 14. (eBills are an online billing statement delivered directly to your bill pay account.) Recurring payments will convert EXCEPT for person-to-person (P2P) or email payments. Electronic P2P payments will be available soon. In the meantime, P2P payments will be made by check, which may extend processing time.

Once you have accessed our new bill pay site on or after June 14, please review all payee account information to ensure the correct address and account numbers are listed.

We want to make our system better in order to serve you better.

Our business online banking customers will have a separate browser login and mobile app. Over the coming months, keep your eye out for new tips & tricks delivered to your email.

Zelle® is a fast and free way to send and receive money with the people you know and trust, even if your recipient has a different bank.

Positive Pay is service for our business customers and is an automated cash-management service. It deters check fraud by matching checks a company issues with those presented for payment.

These products will roll out throughout 2021 and early 2022.
